John Ainsworth

JBB Treasurer

John joined the Lancashire Constabulary in 1987 and was elected as the Central Division Federation Representative in 2006.

John was elected as the Vice Chair of the Inspectors Branch Board in January 2008 before becoming Chair in 2009 and then Federation Treasurer in 2009. He is responsible for the administration of the monetary funds of the Branch Board. The Deputy Treasurer is Nick Brown.

John also works on Group Insurance, Police Dependants Trust, Convalescent and Benevolent Fund issues. John specialises in Industrial Injuries and Police Pension matters and is trained in Misconduct and Equality representation. He is Chair of the Health and Safety Panel.

John has recently become a grandfather and is looking considerably older than his airbrushed photograph.
