I joined the Force on 14th December 1981.

I served in East Lancs most of my service and was promoted to Colne 1990.

Mid nineties went to HQ training for two years. 1999 promoted to Blackburn.

Became Fed Rep 1999 and have been a trustee, Vice-Chair then Chair of IBB and Vice-Chair to JBB for six and a half years.

Took up current role as Chairman of the Joint Branch Board in January 2009.

Discipline, Equality and Post incident trained.
