Ruth Dolman, is on hand to provide advice at the monthly Financial Planning Surgeries at the Federation Offices. If you would like to review your existing financial arrangements, Ruth will be available to assist all officers and staff.

Inland Revenue - Tax Relief on subs

As a police officer, you are entitled to claim back your tax on professional subscriptions and for uniform cleaning expenses - download the pro forma letter (below) to enable you to make this claim.

We do recommend however, that if you have any other business interests it may be wise to contact a Tax Advice company, such as The Tax Refund Co on 0845 058 2228, who will look into this for you prior to submitting it to the Inland Revenue - there will only be a charge if your claim is successful.
